Fly American from London to Appleton

Cheerio! They say that laughter is the shortest distance between two people… or is it cities? In any case, let's glide into this laughably exciting journey from ol' London Town in England to the ever-enticing Appleton, shall we?

Now, this boon of a voyage is aboard the famed American Airlines. Why American, you ask? Because that's where eagles dare to fly, cows go home in the afternoon, and brevity trolls wander around. Not to mention, those incredibly comfortable airline seats that are like a strange crossbreed between a lazy boy and a marshmallow!

It all starts with your typical web search; words like '"Flight deals," "'Cheap flights," and, wait for it, "Flights" are the magic incantations. Voilà! There appears a list of flights, as if a genie just granted your wishes! The perfect course for me, however, is usually a non-stop flight. One may wonder why the warrants of connectivity - the 'connecting flights' and all the tantalising glamour of a layover, don't find my favour?

Well, it's because I'm comedically old-school - a straight line tickles my fancy. Now, don't get me wrong, I have nothing against the winding-waltzing of connecting flights. They do offer fascinating airport stopovers and the possibility of grabbing an extra hot dog. But, my heart beats for the distinctly humourous appeal of direct, non-stop national darting from point A to B. Sleek, isn't it?

On this exciting journey, I typically start with a round-trip ticket. I mean, the "one-way" has its thrill but, naught compares to the joy of knowing you have a return booked! And what's a better story than one with a befitting return home, eh?

Oh, before we doth proceed, let's not forget the divine dance between classes. 'Economy Class,' 'Premium Economy,' 'Business Class,' 'First-Class'; oh, the delightful dilemma between comfort and cash! While the Economy class offers a pocket-friendly seduction, the upper classes - the aristocracy of flying, provide a cornucopia of unparalleled comfort. Recalling my previous adventures, I’ve, in fact, experienced the "upgrade dance" - where one gracefully flutters from Economy to Business Class. I must admit the change was akin to the Cinderella story, only with more legroom and less glass footwear!

And let’s not harp on the 'Baggage allowance' rigmarole. For who, I ask, relishes the idea of lugging their entire walk-in closet halfway across the globe? I prefer keeping my luggage elegant and interestingly light, rather like my humour.

From the bend of "Best time to book" to the realm of 'In-flight services,' the journey’s end is near at hand. There’s much to say about American Airlines' in-flight services; they serve their meals with a side of infectious American enthusiasm that extends to even their peanuts!

While on my merry way from London to Appleton, I love flying at a time when the sun blinks at me in complicit jest - the 'Red-eye flight.' It cracks me up every time! Ever wondered why they call it that? It’s like saying, “Hey, let's fly when our eyes wish to stage a mutiny!”

Even turbulence occasionally offers a free rollercoaster!
